AAFAT (آفات) is a free, open-source disaster preparedness and reporting platform for Pakistan, built by Code for Pakistan. It brings disaster guidance and live hazard information together in one place, in English and اردو. AAFAT does not replace official disaster management — it works alongside NDMA, PDMA, PMD and NIH, adding a community layer where people can see what is happening near them and contribute what they know.
Sign in, open the Data tab and choose “Upload data” to add a single record or import many at once from a CSV or JSON file. Give at least a location name and hazard type; coordinates must fall inside Pakistan, and you can attach a photo or a short voice note. You can also report from the AAFAT companion mobile app, which captures your GPS location in the field. Either way the submission enters a review queue and appears on the public map once a reviewer approves it.
