Call for help and prepare a plan and kit

Use the Emergency tab: call Rescue 1122, Police, Edhi or the Fire Brigade in one tap, make a family plan, and pack an emergency kit.

For: Everyone

The Emergency tab keeps Pakistan's emergency numbers one tap away, and helps you plan and pack before a disaster. It works with no signal, except for the calls themselves.

Call for help

  1. Tap the Emergency tab.
  2. Under In an emergency, call now, tap the service you need. Your phone's dialler opens with the number.
Service Number
Rescue 1122 1122
Police 15
Edhi Ambulance 115
Fire Brigade 16

The red 1122 button in the top bar does the same from any screen.

Under Official response & warning agencies, tap NDMA, PDMA, PMD or NIH to open their website.

Make a plan

Under Make a plan, work through the four steps with your household, before you need them:

  1. Talk with your household
  2. Know your risks & routes
  3. Save key contacts & alerts
  4. Practice your plan

Build an emergency kit

Under Build an emergency kit, tick each item as you pack it. The app counts how many are packed, and remembers your ticks on this phone. Reset checklist clears them.

What to do for each hazard

Under Emergency lists by hazard, tap a hazard to open:

Tips

In a life-threatening emergency, call for help first. A report on Nigraan is checked by a person before it is published, so it is not an emergency call.
