Check a public user's relief camps and approve or decline their bronze, silver, gold or platinum badge.
For: Validators, Administrators
When a public user's approved relief camps reach 3, 6, 9 or 12, Nigraan asks a validator to confirm their next badge. Validators and administrators review these requests. Only the website can award badges; the mobile app shows them but cannot give them.
Find the requests
You get a notification on the bell: "Name has N approved relief camps on the map. Review them for badge."
In the console, the Badge reviews tab shows a number when requests are waiting.
Read a request
Each request shows:
the person's name, and the badge they hold now, with an arrow to the badge their camps support;
how many approved relief camps they have on the map, and when the request was made;
every one of their camps: the place, coordinates and dates, who approved it, its photo if it has one, and whether it counts. A camp linked as a duplicate does not count.
Approve
Check that the camps are real, separate and still sensible, then click Approve followed by the badge name, e.g. Approve Silver. The badge is awarded at once, and the person is told.
If more of their camps were approved after the request was made, the card says so, and approving awards the higher badge their camps now support. If their camps no longer support a new badge, for example because some were removed, the Approve button is greyed out.
Decline
Click Decline.
Under Reason (optional — the person will see it), say why, e.g. "Two of these are the same camp, or one is a private house".
Click Confirm decline, or Cancel. The person gets a notification, with your reason if you gave one.
They are asked about again automatically once another of their camps is approved.
What to look for
Two listings of the same camp under different names.
A "camp" that is really a private house, a shop or an office.
Coordinates that do not match the place name.
Camps that were listed and approved in a short burst by the same person: worth a closer look.
