Give people the right role, award or remove a relief-camp badge, and remove an account, from User & role management.
For: Administrators
User & role management lists every account on Nigraan. Only administrators can open it: Admin console, then the User & role management tab.
Each person shows their name (or Unnamed user), their badge if they have one, and their email. Your own account is marked You.
You cannot change your own role, because doing so could lock you out of the console.
| Give this role | To someone who |
|---|---|
| Public User | Reports hazards and lists relief camps. This is the default. |
| Validator | Reviews reports and badge requests. |
| Partner | Uploads an NGO's or agency's datasets. |
| Institutional | Works for an institution or agency, and may approve or deny reports on the Data page. |
| Donor | Needs read-only reporting on approved data. |
| Administrator | Runs Nigraan. Keep this list short. |
Public users have a Badge: list beside their role.
Most badges should come through Badge reviews, where a validator checks the camps. A direct award is for exceptions, such as correcting a mistake. See Review badge requests.
Staff accounts have no badge list, because badges are only for public users.
Click the bin button at the end of a person's row. Nigraan asks you to confirm: the person's login and profile are deleted, and they cannot sign back in. This cannot be undone. You cannot remove your own account.
