Make a Nigraan account in the app, sign in and out, and reset a forgotten password from your phone.
For: Everyone
You need an account only to add to Nigraan, for example to report a hazard or list a relief camp. The map, the guides and the emergency numbers need no account.
You are usually signed in straight away. If the app says Check your email to confirm your account, then sign in., open the email, follow its link, and then sign in.
The Mobile number option does not work yet. Signing up or in with a mobile number needs text messages, which are not switched on. Use Email.
An administrator can change your account type later. Badges are only for Public user accounts.
If you tapped Report a Hazard before signing in, the app takes you to the sign-in screen first, then to the form. You stay signed in on this phone until you sign out.
The link works once and expires soon, so use it quickly. If it has expired, ask for another. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder.
An account made with a mobile number only has no email address, so it cannot be reset this way.
Once you are signed in, the bell appears in the top bar, and the Menu shows My reports. The website works the same way: see Create an account and sign in.
