What reviewers can do in the app

Reviewing reports and badge requests happens on the website. Here is what validators and administrators can do in the app, and where its badge notifications lead.

The app does not review. Approving or declining reports and badge requests happens only in the website's admin console. The app keeps you informed and takes you there.

Badge requests

When someone's relief camps qualify for a badge, you get a notification on the bell in the top bar:

"[Name] has 3 approved relief camps on the map. Review them for the Bronze badge."

1. Tap the bell, then tap the notification.
2. Your phone's browser opens the website's Badge reviews tab. Sign in there if asked.
3. Review the camps and decide on the website. See Review badge requests.

There is no approve or decline button anywhere in the app, on purpose: badges are given on the website only.

Reports

Pending reports are not shown in the app, not even to reviewers. Review them on the website: see Review submitted reports. Once you approve one, it appears on the app's map for everyone.

What you can do in the app

• Go through every approved record on the Data tab: see Use the Data tab.
• Report hazards and list relief camps like anyone else.
• Upload many records at once: see Upload many reports from a CSV file.

Staff accounts do not earn badges. My badge says so, and is not in your menu.
